We started as a small family business in a family home and began our development journey. As time passed, we progressed more and more, improving ourselves professionally and personally, but also continuously investing in technology, which required expanding the space, so we continued our business in a rented space.

Over the years, we have grown, learned and constantly developed to reach the level of quality we are at today, 25 years later. Kolman is now synonymous with quality and precision when it comes to packaging processes, and this is confirmed by our numerous clients from all over Croatia, but also from all continents.

This is how our story developed:

The beginnings of the company Kolman d.o.o.

1999.

In 1999, we started our small family business with the clear goal of providing high-quality machines. We faced many challenges in the beginning, but thanks to perseverance, dedication and hard work, we managed to overcome the difficult first years and lay the foundation for long-term success.

Development and production of Kolpak 1 and 2 machines

2003.

The first major milestone in the business of Kolman d.o.o. was the production and development of the Kolpak 1 and 2 machines. Still in rented space, in 2003, we began developing the first series of our machines, which we have been continuously developing and improving to this day.

Moving to our own space

2005.

In 2005, after 6 years of business, upgrading and successful cooperation with clients, a new major milestone was reached by opening our own production facility. We equipped the facility with machines and tools specially developed and adapted to our needs and those of our clients (CNC machining centers, CNC lathes, universal lathes, milling machines and other necessary tools).

Production of the first line

2010.

After many years of work on the production and development of machines, we came to the production of our first filling line, which opened up a whole range of new opportunities and a wide range of new potential clients. Since then, we have developed and produced hundreds of filling lines for various packaging.

EU capacity expansion project

2017.

Kolman doo started the implementation of the EU project on September 1, 2017: Expansion of production facility capacity for high-tech general-purpose machines.. By implementing this project, we increased the volume of production and the quality of precision parts that we incorporate into finished products. New technical capacities and an increased number of employees enabled us to produce machines with higher added value, strengthen our brand, grow revenues and reduce operating costs.

2024.

Today, a quarter of a century after the beginning of our journey, we are proud of the fact that we can boast of the most modern machines and top experts in our team, as well as hundreds of satisfied clients from all over the world.

Our beginnings were humble, but with great desire, ambition and a vision for progress. We started with a small facility, without many machines, but with big dreams. This is what it used to look like:
